May 12, 2023 - what a day we had in the ring one last time, well who knows, maybe again next year!
Sierra had a great time, and we were first in our Veteran Class in Sweeps, and in regular Veterans.
I stayed on Sierra's leash and friend Sheri Irion took Jazzi into the breed ring. We were right behind them,
and had I loved being with Sierra in the ring! Icing on the day was an Award of Merit!
My emotions showed in the picture with the sweeps
judge, Jessica Breinholt - after 4 years of mammary tumors
an accident that cause Sierra to lose her spleen, and an eye abrasion that took
months to heal.
Not to mention the anniversary of losing Lhotse. Sierra is the last of my bred
by dogs, the last
of Lhotse's line, the last of Denali.
